TRACS Enterprise will manage the full end to end operational process for the TOCs in question, from timetabling and resource optimisation through to disruption management, decision support, and follow up activities across the organisation. Improvements in train service performance and customer satisfaction have been key drivers in the development of TRACS Enterprise.
The five-year agreement covers all of the Operator's individual Train Operating Companies (TOCs) within the UK plus other franchises that the Owning Group may win in future.
The award follows a comprehensive procurement process where Tracsis was able to successfully demonstrate the innovative functionality and benefits TRACS Enterprise will bring to the Owning Group and it’s TOCs.
The total potential value over the duration of the framework agreement is expected to be multi-million pounds although given the 'call off' nature of the agreement, the number of modules used and the specific timing of implementation is difficult to forecast with certainty.
However, the Directors believe this is a key win for Tracsis that will lead to significant recurring revenue opportunities within the duration of the agreement and beyond.
Alex Sarginson, Managing Director for the Operations and Planning Systems Division of Tracsis, commented:
"We are delighted to have secured this significant framework agreement and look forward to working collaboratively with the owning group to successfully deliver this project across their Train Operating Companies. This win is testament to our talented team and innovative range of efficiency software products"
